This past weekend I visited the newly remodeled Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach. Their current exhibit features a solo show by Pascale Marthine Tayou, and a major retrospective of Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, including Vocabulary of Solitude, a large room scattered with life-size clowns snoozing in various positions. I photographed some dramatic light and shadows within and around the museum.
Despite the fact that photography is almost not allowed anywhere within the perimeter of the Southeast Financial Center, the plaza around noon time is a great place to enjoy your lunch time.
